This is a nice photo to look at. Very relaxing with a solid composition and fitting tones. Not that much is happening but in this case that is fine. You say each photo is a window in time, and I am glad you took the photo at that specific moment, as a cloudy sky would have ruined the shot.
To me this piece is purely abstract and it works best on that level. I'm a fan of abstract work, and I like this one. Questions about this fence on the beach are irrelevant, so the only "story" is that of pure composition.
I thank you for all your comments and insights into my photography, which is part of a long-term photographic documentation project (Lost at Sea). I am confident that engaging with other professionals, photographers, artists, and culture enthusiasts about their work is the foundation for improvement and awareness.
I really like this image. As a standalone, it gives me a sense of calmness and I really like the colour palette. It’s a “safe” image, what you see is what you get. You won’t see anything new no matter how many times you look at it. That’s not a criticism. There’s nothing wrong with that. It makes the image easy on the eye, hence the sense of calmness I feel when I look at it.
As for the question, I’m not sure how it relates to this standalone image. However, in general terms, change happens around us constantly for many different reasons. How we perceive that change is subjective and personal based on how the changes impact us.
Here's what I love about this image. It manages to create a feeling of being boxed into a small space, while simultaneously being in a wide open ocean view, where the space extends seemingly forever. Such a paradox, and could be an analogy for lots of things, part of a series of images which are thematic, yet of different spaces.
You said it well, Marco: "My work bridges the tangible and the intangible, the visible and the perceived: the environment not as backdrop, but as an active presence that influences and reflects our interiority. In these quiet frames"
Always subjective, I would say. Though even that may change over time.... This is a going to be a good photograph because I can say this or that with the image, versus: It is a good photograph, I forgot all about it, and it reminds me of such and such... which may well be entirely different than when I first made it. I don't know if that makes sense?
the photo on its own is good but i think it is taken out of a larger body of work where is shinning being more than good. we as humans are changing the space, we are changing the nature instead of adapting at it

I like the abstract nature of the photo but find the fact that the windbreak obscures the (presumably) ocean / sea view.
